MEDITATION

WHAT IS MEDITATION?

Meditation is an elevated state of awareness associated with enhanced well-being. It serves as a powerful tool for self reflection, enabling us to see clearly how we are behaving. Through this clarity, we can identify the patterns and habits that contribute to uneasiness and dissatisfaction.

A true meditative state cultivates an unshakable sense of inner peace that is not dependent on external forces. Through continued practice, we strengthen our capacity to modify our responses to what happens to us. Its transformative power lies in its ability to incite us to enact real, positive and sustainable change so that we can foster a more balanced and harmonious existence.

From the profound spiritual practices of Hinduism and Buddhism in ancient India to the contemplative traditions of Taoism and Confucianism in ancient China, meditation has served as a cornerstone of spiritual exploration, self-realization, and the attainment of higher states of consciousness throughout history.

We meditate to find, recover, to come back to something of ourselves we only dimly and unknowingly know we had and have lost without knowing what it was or where we lost it.

360 DEGREES OF SPACIOUSNESS

As we dive deeper into the subtler levels of consciousness, awareness begins to unfold as degrees and qualities of spaciousness. You are no limited to a small physical existence. You tap into your true nature as an infinite, energetic being that is connected to everything else around it.

The core of the meditation experience is a continuous dissolving into space – a surrendering to the spontaneous unfolding of your own consciousness as it spills into the vast, limitless expanse of universal consciousness. Only out of nothingness is an infinite expanse of life possible. We become no one, with no thing, in no space, in no time.

Paradoxically, the more you allow yourself to dissolve into space, the more real and substantial you feel. You can better perceive the basic fluid interplay of energies that shape your reality. Within this fluidity, you harmonize with the natural ebbs and flows of existence and gain a greater freedom to explore who you really are.
